Inspirational Story About the Director
After completing her O’Level exams Filsan waved goodbye to the village. She came to Nairobi to pursue her
dreams of becoming a banker. After up and downs that normally come with City life she graduated with
Banking and Finance. During her days in the university she use to do part time jobs to cater for school
fees as well upkeep. Her 1st professional job was in a Courier Company where she rose up to the
rank of Finance Manager where she help the company revenue and market share rose by 200%. After five years
in the business she made the bold decision to become self employed and this is where the idea of Filsan
Cargo and Travel Agency Ltd was born. After several years of loss and disappointment for a company that
started with one employee ,one small office and one desktop the Company is now known globally and
employees more than one hundred people directly or indirectly. All praise goes to the Almighty, the only
one ,the sustainer of the universe. For sure patience pay.
The best way to not feel hopeless is to get up and do something. Don’t wait for good things to happen to
you. Waiting from others will make you have miserable life.If you go out and make some good things happen,
you will fill the world with hope, you will fill yourself with hope. Trust Allah. He will surely pave the
way for you.
